Review:
When it seems like every superhero in town is getting their own movie; Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Beastboy and Starfire (The Teen Titans) decide they deserve their own. Robin is pressed with seeing his team and more importantly himself on the big screen and will stop at nothing to make it happen. When famous Hollywood Director, Jade Wilson tells Robin they need an arch nemesis to make a great movie, the Titans are eager to seek out a villain. After a bunch of laughs and Toon-ballads they eventually find a foe, discover his plan to take over the world and fight it out till the end.
This movie is hilarious from start to finish. Any fan of the current Titans Go series would enjoy this. From a delirious Stan Lee confessing his love for cameo’s to Robin being repeatedly made fun of for having “Baby Hands.” Teen Titans Go does not disappoint.
For my original Teen Titan fans – There’s a post-credit scene that alludes to the original series making a comeback in some form. Maybe it will be DC’s new streaming service, maybe it’ll be back on Cartoon Network. I am here and will be here for it regardless.
